Alien Isolation isn't a bad game, it managed to capture the EXACT Alien atmosphere (Alien 1979, not the 3 disgraceful compromises that came after it). I quite liked it. The whole finding schematics to build flimsy stuff kind of annoyed me though. And the neverending stream of androids was aggravating. Is it still SPOILERS 10 years down the road ? Well SPOILERS then : So the USM Valor, a huge military star destroyer loaded for war, full of SPACE MARINES armed to the teeth.... they intercept that ONE escape pod, with, not even an infecter, but a BASIC lowest tier necromorph, the kind that Isaac mows down by the hundreds, and he's an engineer. They intercept the pod with ONE poor necromorph, that dies with a strong enough punch to the jaw, and they all have Pulse Rifles.... and ... WHAT ? The whole ship goes down, they ALL die ? Let's say that necromorph escapes, although usually when you intercept a space pod, at least 10 Space Marines aim at the door in orderly fashion, while one opens it, right ? Ok, Ok, so let's say they were ALL slouched on sofas playing videogames, ALL of them, when the pod opened. He kills, one , two, THREE Space Marines , but then what ? Nobody sees him and shoots him to oblivion ? And ALL the entire USM Valor succumbs to ONE necromorph ? Sure the bodies turn into necromorphs as well, but still, wtf... they're trained Space Marines. Isaac is just an engineer, less equipped, and he kills hundreds ! This never made any sense to me. I know it HAS to happen to advance the plot, but still....
