In recent (maybe more) months there has been a rash of crime that springs out in America as political. You got the MAGAbomber and the Synagogue that was hit from people identified as far-right. However on the news (foxnews) they keep blaming the left (not just far-left) for these crimes.

My question to you all is why does the right keep blaming things on the left when it's clearly the far-right that's doing this?

That's part of the simple mindedness I was mentioning. "The Conservatives oppose equal rights. Therefore they are the wrong side and everything bad is there fault." feels cathartic to say but doesn't actually mean anything.

This actually is not true.

Conservatives are represented to a much larger degree in violent crime, sexual crime and domestic terrorism.

I can't quite remember the figures but I do remember they were pretty astonshing in some cases. Among Politicians themselves it was something like you were 24 times more likely to be sexually assaulted by a Conservative Politician than a liberal one.

This isn't as surprisingly as it might instantly appear as conservatives tend to be more extrovert and vocal/aggressive people as a generalization and liberals tend to be more passive and introvert.

More importantly, they tend to be more religious and religion is always hand in hand with violence.

But it's still the case that if someone decks you in the face in a bar, odds are that they are more likely to be conservative than liberal if you're a gambling man
