... I went on a losing streak and lost like 600 league points.

Earlier in the day I was at like 3100 points, and just kept slaughtering people. When I was at about 3600 points I wasn't destroying most people any more, but I was winning more than losing. And I was mostly player people with like over a thousand more points than me.

I was one win away from getting to gold, when I lost. I just kept losing after that, refusing to quit (to my detriment of course). I just kept playing worse and worse-most likely due to frustration. I also kept running into laggers and stuff.

But man, today was the first day I've played rank in maybe to weeks. I've just been practising and doing casual.

Sounds like you tilted hard, man.
My advice: quit the game and never look back. You can't fail if you don't try.

Oh boy, have you tried out Ibuki yet? She seems like she'd be right up your alley. I'll be dumb busy this week, but if I find the time, I'll @ you in here. (Actually will be gone next weekend, attending my first tournament!)

And yeah, don't sweat the points and rank at this level, man. Just play to improve. Although buying the characters will probably help you out quite a bit for learning match-ups. I've probably seen one Karin in Ranked since we last played lol

I should've quit when I lost 2 in a row (which is what I normally do I ranked), but it's so close to going up a league that I figured I could get back those points.

I've only tried out juri because she just gives me so much freaking trouble, and ive never used her in sf4 (which is the first game she appeared in). I've used ibuki a little bit in the past games, so I know what she's about.

Yeah, my hope in buying the characters is that it'll make me better. Even if it doesn't, I've gotten so many hours out of this game (like 130) and I only paid ten bucks for the base game.

You're totally right though-i shouldn't care about the tank and points, but I'm so freaking competitive that I can't help it.

Start hitting it and quitting it to Casual or BL, man lol When I tilt, I keep playing, but remove the competitive value and try new things that I know I could improve on.

Yeah, I "mained" Juri for the whopping 20 hours I played SFIV (borrowed it from a friend once) and I really didn't like her changes to SFV. Might pick her up again some day regardless.

And thanks, man. I'm also entering SCVI as well.
