Shawn Taylor's grand opening of his Restaurant has Closed BEFORE it even OPENED after he sabotaged his own opening when he slammed prospective customers ras "liberal white *****" on Facebook!!

The insult occurred after an article featured an interview with Ciao Bistro owner Shawn Taylor touted his impending opening and in the comments on the weekley newspaper's post, 2 women were chatting back and forth about the restaurant's potential for success and name choice.

Rachel D wrote "We'll see, i'm calling it"

Bailey Pfohl wrote "The name feels ironic but i hope i'm wrong"

Shawn butted in and used his own personal fb and wrote "Liberal white *****" which he quickly deleted but obviously the women screen captured it before he did and it drew quick condemnation from other local area residents.

Other stated they would NEVER go to his Ciao Bistro after his crudeness and took the oppoturnity to ROAST him.

Andy Ross said "This guy won't be getting any of our business. What a horrible thing to say to someone"

Annaka Whitehouse said "Omg, this guy just lost so much business in 3 words. Why would you post that on such a huge cleveland news source"

Greg Afanador said "Calls people liberal white ***** in a liberal white area and expects to succeed, mmm-kay, great business plan"

Shawn posted a grovelling apology from both his own and his Ciao Bistro's FB page in which he BLAMED an UNIDENTIFIED FRIEND for his unsavory words and said his longtime friend was hired to handle the social media and threw HIM under the bus and claims he did not post that.

He told Fox News that the shocking post came from his FRIEND he had accidentally logged into his FB account and this friend was supposed to log into ciao bistro..

He said his friend texted him that he didn't know how his account ended up posting that comment but said they will figure it out.

Shawn finished off by stating "I'm not going to go down without fighting back. Give me a chance because i will make it right, that's what i plan to do. These people will have the best italian-sicilian food they've ever had in this city"

Social media is not worth it as a public figure. I understand using it to advertise, but anything beyond that is just asking for trouble. The internet is too diverse and there is no way to keep everyone happy.

He might as well named his restaurant "Liberal Tears" or "The Jews Wont Replace Us". It would have alienated many customers but at least he could have been attracting MAGA customers.

Makes me more interested. Not because I'm political (furthest from it). I'd go there just because he pissed off people that deserved it.

I'd throw everyone doing personal stuff on FB under the bus.

I don't get who this offends. Regular people would just say 'yeah, not liberal'. And liberals would agree on the basis that they hate white people.
