I think it's a nice sitcom. I love that Carrie is like a canon mean person lmao. As a kid I hated Arthur but now I think he's hilarious. Haven't seen the show in probably a decade though.

I couldn't stand it. Their relationship was unbelievably hostile and Kevin James is one of the least funny comedy actors out there. Jerry Stiller's entire shtick was just that he acted eccentric, LOUDLY! and that didn't really do it for me, either. It was also pretty by the books as far as plots go. Someone obviously liked it, though, since it was on for so long.

There was a lot of inconsistencies in the show. Like the one where the neighbors trick doug into a pyramid scheme and at the end of the show doug goes to get his money back but the neighbors had moved out. then a couple episodes later the neighbors are still living there like nothing happened.

Honestly, I can't stand him so much that it's hard for me to even enjoy that. I'm sure it'd be funny if I didn't hate him so much.

But it's frequently compared to Everybody Loves Raymond where Debra's also a bitch and treated as right about 99% of the time. Carrie is at least treated as unreasonable pretty often.

Honestly, I was thinking about that show too, and I also hated it. Maybe it's just that particular part of the genre I don't like.

thats the only reason i ever bothered to look at the show

from what i saw, it wasn't really that bad though, compared to sitcoms in general. i'm not a sitcom fan.
