I definitely haven't asked my family. I have no desire to encourage most of them to vote. They're adults anyways, no need to prod them about it.

I've asked people if they registered. I don't really discuss who/what I'm voting for but I'll discuss to learn more.

I just want people to vote, we need that. I've decided to never discuss politics with family except my grandpa and dad, since they aren't as emotional as others.

I'm surrounded by Republican stooges, so I don't much care to remind them there are elections outside of presidential election years.

This is precisely why I phrased the question as I did. I've been asking friends, and some family, if they are voting/have voted, just like that. Neutrally. If they want to discuss things further I'm happy to, but at the end of the day it's their decision on how to vote.

If everyone voted and things didn't go the way I preferred, I wouldn't be thrilled or anything, but it would be way better than a scenario where very few people voted.

Comes up in my family as my dad has been corrupted into a loud and proud pizzagater

My mom probably voted with him just so there wouldnt be any arguments

Meanwhile my brother and I cancel them out by voting straight Ds

Yeah. Most people in my family are pretty dug into conservatism though.
