The engineer that I used to be bros with that shared my apathetic and lazy work style has since quit
I now have an engineering manager and there is a new engineer and I work closely with both of them. They are both of the mindset of "fuck yeah I fucking love work it is the best thing ever I don't mind putting in 90-110 hour work weeks" I feel like I'm going to get fired because my ass leaves at 5 to 5:00 and I don't share their enthusiasm for fucking pipe filters and different grades of steel. ... We got our work done but never went above and beyond, we had a mutual agreement to only work at like 60%. There was one day when our boss was out that we played cookie clicker all day.
