Voters in Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Tennessee have shown up in droves to vote early, nearly matching the total number of votes cast in those states in 2014. Almost every other state with early-voting has seen a marked increase in turn-out as well.
This is great news, but what exactly this means is unclear as of yet.

More people voting can only mean bad things for Republicans.

I voted early, there's no point in waiting in line for hours on the day of voting

In a state like Nevada? Definitely(rest in piss Sen. Heller, btw). Generally speaking? Probably. But does that hold in, say, Tennessee? Texas? And if it does, is it enough to put Bredesen or O'Rourke over the top?

Bredesen is pretty wildly popular, though he burned a lot of good will with his Kavanaugh comment.

I'm just frustrated trying to convince my friends who think he's not good enough to vote for over Blackburn (and most of them acknowledge that she is a garbage, evangelical conservative). They want some perfect unicorn of a candidate who will never exist.

Early voting will definitely increase turnout, but not hugely so. A lot of it will just be people who would've otherwise voted on the day, vote early instead. That was the case here, where we just had our first early-voting-unconditionally-allowed election last year.

Not that you have one. You're just here to spread nonsense to discourage Democrat voters.

You may have another thing coming to you. We saw your messages and we are turning out in full force. Every member of my family voted republican.

I did early voting.

In and out in ten minutes, and only that long because I saw somebody I knew and hung around afterward to say hi.
