As far as I remember, it seemed relatively independant and I remember most of Board 8 being against it (for killing CT). And it's especially damming since social media has gotten so much bigger in even 3 years. The homepage should have a larger / more prominent graphic to draw people into voting, and the small little drop-down we have now should be popping up on every page you visit as a header until you cast your vote. If this is arguing for anything, it's 12 hour matches. 2) No it hasn't. Donkey Kong just beat Leon Kennedy. Come on man. 3) First, your maths are off. Second, even without double votes votals are up considerably. A fraction of what they were but not bad. And compared to PotD numbers, amazing. 4) Nothing stopping people rallying. The problem is no close enough matches have involved good rally material. But hey, maybe you could get Lady Gaga to rally for Bayonetta over twitter, she's a fan. 5) GameFAQs's problems are nothing to do with this contest. This is the most engaged people have been with the site in years.
