No, I'm the one who's never felt this sort of attraction before. You can blame years of severe emotional damage for that - I've had physical attractions certainly, but not so much as a crush before now.

The whole thing is a bit complicated but, long story short: no, he didn't know, because I really didn't understand the extent of what was going on in my heart until it was too late. In that regard I can't fault him. I just wish my mind had figured this shit out sooner - it wasn't fun finding out and having my heart cave in on itself.
