Oof your desperate. You must be more frustrated about the House than I realized.

*you're

And nah. It was super easy to see coming, and I cannot wait to see if these people are dumb enough to try putting Pelosi up there as Speaker again. Can you even imagine?

The subpoenas and sham investigations (and potential articles of impeachment) are going to increase Trump's approval dramatically. A blue house is a godsend to 2020.

This is 1996 all over again. Just need an established dem fossil to run for president (Biden?).

But they won't because the Dem machine is corrupt as fuck

Every political machine is corrupt as fuck

Trump winning kind of disproves this

Trump is corrupt as fuck.

Anyway, I've lost count of the flips ever since they called the House and Senate as a whole. Looks like they've yet to call my district's House race, though.

DeSantis finally called the winner. Still love Gillum though. He probably would have won if his idiot staffers knew how to shut the fuck up.

Calling Florida an effed up cracker state and hiding policies was a bad move. The panhandle was wrecked by a hurricane, and then that video came out and convinced them to crawl through the mud and vote no matter what.

Isn't gillum under investigation for improper benefits?

Another win: juries in Louisiana must unanimously convict people. Non-unanimous juries were disproportionately punishing marginalized people in their systems.

I've seen it pointed out that the biggest winners tonight in the short term are probably never-Trump Republicans. They get a check on Trump and still get their judges etc.

In the long term though it would probably be a lot better for them if Rs lost spectacularly since that's the only way you're going to purge Trumpism from the party.

Also, I have to say, it's seriously impressive in basically every pre-election poll, a good amount of 'unsure' voters magically become Republicans when the election election starts

It's like people are embarrassed to admit what they're supporting, even anonymously

It's not surprising when you look at the narratives. Liberals characterize conservatives as evil, morally corrupt, etc. etc, instead of disagreeing with their ideas intellectually. It happens in real life, social media, MSM, and this topic. They're not embarrassed by what they believe in, they're afraid of being unfairly demonized for it.

Apparently Oregon: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hung_jury#United_States

Currently, two states, Oregon and Louisiana, do not require unanimous verdicts in criminal cases. Each requires a 10-2 majority for conviction, except for capital crimes: Oregon requires at least 10 votes out of 12 for felonies, but unanimity for first degree murder, and Louisiana requires all 12.
