Now maybe some of you on here know but I barely have any family left a lot of them died decades ago so really the only thing I had was all the stuff they left me in their will like photo collections. Well apparently the place they stored all this stuff was not set up right and a lot of pictures decayed and were damaged.
So now I barely remember the faces of some of my uncles and my grandparents that died from cancer and just all the years they would take tons of pictures because they wanted future grandkids to know about their lives. Plus they had journals and diaries and all these papers just deteriorated. Its all gone and I don't even remember a lot of things. I'm so sad because it was like literally 147,000 different pictures and papers collected for decades and its gone :( I even had a special scrapbook where I put like 800 of my favorite pictures and notes and they are just gone now. That's absolutely devistaing. I'm so very sorry this has happened to you. I can only hope there will be some way to restore some of this.

Ive noticed that I always forget all details and only remember how I felt. I feel fine with that. Seems the most important that I remember how someone made me feel
