I went to a convenience store after work to grab a snack. I parked in one of the parking spots next to the sidewalk. Between the lines, with the wheels against the edge of the sidewalk like I've always done.

I get out to walk in, and this guy walking back to his car stops me and says, "You know sidwalks were meant for walking on and not for the hood of your car, right?" I was so baffled that someone would care about this so I just look at him and say, "ok". I'm also walking by my car on the sidewalk which apparently was taken up by my car's hood.

Then he had to add "Just wanted to let you know for next time."

I didn't even look at him this time as I mumbled another ok at him and walked into the store.

Should've. But if anything it's convinced me to continue parking as I always have. It's never been a problem ever before.

As I usually have my cars pretty low, I've never really driven right up to the curb as I'd damage the front bumper.

Now that I have a fourby, I drive right up until the tires hit the curb. Screw that old dude, don't listen to him.

I've never had a single scratch, dent, or scrape. I'm fully aware of my own car and what it can and can't do.

Although he didn't have to be a dick about it, I kinda agree with the old man.
A parking space usually has clearly defined lines or borders, that's the space for your car. Though it's by far the least of inconsiderate parking behavior.
I wouldn't adress someone doing it as it's a minor enough thing, but a little voice in me can't help but go "Is it really this hard to park a car in the designated area?"

I only get irritated when Im walking my dog and people park their cars completely across the sidewalk in a driveway.

One time a dude who looked like he was on a cocktail of drugs tried to say I was a bad dog owner cause my dog was trying to pull towards him and wilding out (first time it ever happened cause the dude was sketchy as fuck) and I was play Pokemon Go so my phone was out. I forgot what I said to him since it was awhile ago. People are just fuckfaces
