There's nothing wrong with that though. Also Master Chief is an interesting character. But I don't blame people for voting Tails. Halo, and more importantly, Xbox are just not as popular right now.

Halo has also had at least two good games in the last 7 years. Choose any two of Halo 4, MCC, Halo 5, and Halo Wars 2. They're all good. Halo just isn't the juggernaut it once was. I think it being tied to the Xbox is a major part of that. With the next installment of Halo getting a PC release, I expect Halo to become at least a bit more popular again.

I don't think so. A lot of people still like Halo, just not enough to get a Xbox for it. I'm not saying it will soar to Halo 3 levels of popularity again, but being on PC will definitely help.
