Wondering this since I saw Suds (aka SpongeBob gets a cold) and one of the lines was "Patrick, you should be arrested for impersonating a doctor!". Is it actually possible to get arrested for that IRL?

Technically, no. There is no law against impersonating a doctor.

However, that doesn't really matter because anything medical you do while impersonating a doctor would be super illegal.

Basically this. You can get away with it up until you have to actually BE a doctor. Anything you do after that falls under practicing medicine without an license, which is an arrestable offense.
