No zero HP should be dead.

I like area effect damage like in Deus Ex or fallout where if you get shot on the legs you can crawl or limp

and if you get shot in the head you just die

Zero HP just means the suit has no power and she is left with her Zero Suit and side pistol, so in that form it would be one more hit and shed die.
