The count number isn't exactly clear to me. I know Donnelly, McCaskill, and Heitkamp are flipped. On the other hand, Arizona and Nevada would be flipped too, and Florida would return to Democrats. What would the count be?

I don't think it's a very realistic prospect that the Democrats manage to hold Nelson's seat, though. The margin is tight, but it's still a good deal larger than the few hundred votes a typical recount might swing.

The only election I can think of off the top of my head where a recount changed the result was Franken's election in 2008, and that was one where the margin ended up being about 300 votes.
