you know that Arthur and his gang is made up of bad people, but you're often dealing with other bad people (the Braithwates included), but at that point, you could see how bad the men truly were.

I know it's because they were desperate to find Jack, but still...

I just finished that chapter last night. I've been mostly playing as a good guy, so I had mixed feelings about watching them murder that old woman's family and burn down her family estate. Obviously they weren't exactly good people but god damn.

Saint Denis ia awesome btw. This game is still blowing me away visually

yea, I took a train ride to Saint Denis early on and it looked pretty cool, but it seems more impressive when the story bring brings you to the city, for some reason

The difference between night and day in Saint Denis is particularly striking.

And yeah, I went there prematurely too but purposely didn't explore. I got stuck on the train after the Billy Midnight mission and just decided to ride it all the way around >_>

Those were fun missions, yeah. Arson solves everything. Interestingly, one of the Braithwaites survived: that sister who's locked in the outhouse near the coastal housing. She's the one who's ranting and raving all the time and is considered a dark secret or something. (Arthur can sketch her abode if he's near.) I wonder what that means for succession. Not sure of Penelope and Beau's fates.

Glad everything in Caliga Hall didn't burn, though, 'cause I randomly started finding Lady of the Night Orchids on their trees after having no idea where to get 'em. :P

The scenery, combined with the music and everyone walking up to the house together was the first time I've said out loud "holy shit this is awesome" at a video game in years. So good.
