Canadian Breakfast Stout is an Imperial Stout brewed with a blend of coffees and imported chocolates, then aged in spent bourbon barrels that have most recently been aging pure Michigan maple syrup.

The only problem I have with the beer is it's only sold in 750ml bottles for $24.99 a pop. So you're drinking that much beer (at 11.70%). I almost need a friend to split it with

Founders is one of the best "big" craft breweries. I was drinking some Solid Gold last night, in fact. Bells and Victory are probably the only two that I would put with them as far as big craft goes.

They rereleased this? Damn, I wish I still drank. I always wanted to try this, but they brewed it as a one off thing back in 2013 or so. I've had regular breakfast stout, kentucky breakfast stout, backwoods bastard, and curmudgeon's better half from Founder's though. Amazing beers. The best two beers I've probably had were Fundamental Observation by Bottle Logic Brewing, or Bourbon County Brand Vanilla Rye by Goose Island, CBS is probably the only beer that could top those two
