I can take the red base to the northwest no problem but the Northeast base fucking destroyed by entire 15 tanks and 15 infantries with the damn paralyzing ghosts.

Indeed. So many quality of life features in Starcraft II made it much more manageable even on Brutal for those of us who can't maintain some insane APM rate.

Yes, but they can only paralyze so much.

When I beat it (this was YEARS ago), I basically used a constant stream of battlecruisers to cut a line directly to the objective and Yamato'd the shit out of it with as many battlecruisers as resources would allow.

Funny enough. This is one of the few times I'm glad the ol Starcraft had the entire selection use their special abilities instead of doing it individually in Starcraft II.

FINALLY it's on to the Zerg campaign now. I used Dikitain/AllstarSniper's strategy. Yje Northwest red base was annihilated by the fully upgraded armor/weapon Battlecruisers. Tried the Northeast base but they were all destroyed by the ghosts, so I went directly to the objective, half of the battlecruisers were wiped out but I got the objective finished.

One another note, I am kinda glad the Starcraft II Battlecruisers attack actually had multiple attacks, even if they were weaker, as oppose to one single shot. I know the whole scale is off anyway and it doesn't make sense that a bunch of marines can shoot one down but the one attack bothered me the most in the first Starcraft.

This is just the regular campaign? it's not that difficult if you advance slowly and don't overextend your tanks as well as never use infantry since you don't have access to medics yet.

I've made edits to all the single player missions to increase their difficulty though it isn't perfect but at least it makes the harder missions more interesting.

So far yeah. I'm going through the series for the first time ever now.
I'll be going SC-->SC BW--->SC2--->Hop on SC2 multiplayer/co-op

Thinking of getting Diablo 2 off Blizzard's store too. I'm kinda new to Blizzard games. I pre-ordered Warcraft 3 already.

That one's a good one and I feel is more forgiving in terms of macro/micromanaging compared to Starcraft. The unit cap is much smaller and there's an upkeep cost as you obtain more units but units as a whole are beefier compared to units in SC.

How about the story though? I'm loving Starcraft's universe and lore even though most of it is actually in the instruction manuals. I tend to prefer sci-fi/futuristic over fantasy.
Was the instruction manual needed for the lore of Warcraft 3 too? For Starcraft everything went way over my head until I found the digital manual to understand the lore. If so I really hope Blizzard includes something with Warcraft 3 Reforged so I'm not lost.

The digital version of SC only included a useless 8 page manual so I had to find the digital manual online, and luckily I just found the BW manual in my basement from the Battlechest that was in my backlog forever now.
I hope Blizzard can at least include an in-game history or something. They ARE trying to make it accessible to newcomers so I don't see why they couldn't. :/
I don't get why they didn't include the long manuals with the digital versions of Starcraft though...they really should have since they're a necessity for the games. :/
