This is especially true with gens 6 and 7. The exp. share makes experience a complete non-issue, even with the nerf it got in SM/USUM

I have, and again, it's not really necessary. I always run from wild encounters during my subsequent runs, and I don't have many issues. I'm not sure why you're acting like this is hard to believe. SM and USUM are harder than usual, but you still don't need to grind.

And it's not like you're not able to grind in LGPE. You still get exp for catching Pokemon, so what's the problem here?

Why are people upset over wild battles being removed? Did you actually enjoy running into and beating up Rattata over and over again?

I'm not sure if removing them entirely was the best route but something needed to be done because wild battles were one of the worst things about the games. Catching Pokemon is awful. You weaken them a little and then it's RNG spamming. If the Pokemon is legendary, there's a decent chance that you could run out of Pokeballs making you have to reset your game. And when you're not trying to catch something, it's just a bunch of tedious one-hit battles that slow you down.

I wouldn't mind if they got rid of random encounters in the next game and had them in the overworld like Let's Go. Still need to keep the turn based battles though.

It would be cool if you needed to do certain things to get some to appear. Like place down lures or track prints or something. Stuff like climb trees to find a Mankey or have certain Pokmon out to attract wild ones. Like you actually have to hunt them. Would be difficult to figure out and implement though.

I mean going outside and interacting is great, but a million people swarming a small area is asking for serious trouble, especially one that's not exactly an organized event. It'd honestly be grounds for cities to sue companies that might try to pull this kinda stuff off

In terms of Gyms and various points, that's what PoGo already does. But yeah as for the actual Pokemon experience, PoGo isn't even really a Pokemon game, just a bad game in a Pokemon skin. It'd be so easy to fix up the entire game if the initial idea wasn't half-baked and Pokemon Company started out with not giving much of a shit about this project to begin with

I don't know their move sets in Let's Go! but in the original games Brock's Pokmon didn't have any rock type moves.

It's actually harder to catch Pokmon and takes more time than battling and capturing does. You have zero influence on the RNG outside of berries, the joycon has to be recalibrated after every throw to make up for your arm movement, and the Pokmon can block and avoid the ball. On top of that the EXP share has given EXP to the whole party since XY. Let's Go's catching system is more of a hassle than it is a convince.
