Most early polygonal PS1 games have aged poorly anyway. Most of the ones worth playing today have some sprite/2D graphics to them.

Some choices make no sense. I understand no Crash trilogy or Spyro, the remkes, same thing with Castlevania Sotn. Even then rainbow six, Persona (I love the game but that translation needs to be wiped from the face of the Earth) GTA? Really there are much better choices.

As a fan of GTA since GTA 1

It really shouldn't be there. I only knew one person who gave a shit about GTA before GTA III came out. It really wasn't a Playstation Classic and had a bigger following on PC at the time.

You say the latter like every NES classic or SNES classic game isnt available everywhere. Just like with those this is just a show off device that I doubt will even be used much by the majority of people lol. Of course Sony wasnt going to put stuff like Crash and Parappa on here when games like that are available in HD on PSN or in collections. Theyd rather push those there than on here. Im not sure what everyone expected. Sony is just piggybacking on Nintendo at the lowest cost possible, they dont want to cut into sales of their newer remade projects and are just hoping to get a few sales of these during the Holiday rush. *shrug*

Really depends on how much internal storage they are putting in the system. That's what I'm going to be paying attention to. The assortment of games is pretty mediocre. I find it hard to believe that they didn't put a single Tony Hawk's Pro Skater on it. It's like Sony just went with the options that cost the least amount of money to license and distribute, regardless of the quality of the title.

From what I remember of the game list, it has FF7 which is the most obvious "default" pick for any PS1 collection possible. I can understand why they wouldn't consider FF8, but they could've been a bit more adventurous and put FF9 on there instead.

And that aside, IIRC the only game on the list that's even decent was Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. And even then, I really feel they should've put Exoddus instead. Oddysee gets extremely frustrating at times, Exoddus is a much better experience IMO.
