Is it better than torchlight 2? better than diablo 2 or 3?

is it worth my time?

If you like diablo-clones, it's among the best so far. Whether or not you prefer Diablo 3 to it is hard to say since Diablo 3 does have a few advantages.

But I like it, I have 620 hours on it

I've only heard good things. It's usually highly recommended when people ask for that type of game to play. Path of Exile is good as well if you like those games.

One of the best games in the genre to come out recently, particularly if you're a fan of the slower pace of older diablo games instead of diablo 3's loot frenzy.

Path of Exile

I've played it for under an hour, and it seemed to be pretty fun. It's not a slog, is it? I'm kinda fearful of ftp games.

I do like the faster pace of D3, but the customization wasn't all that great, imo

Path of exile is excellent, both as a f2p game and as a spiritual successor to diablo 2. Gameplay starts out a little slow but gets much faster as you progress. If you love the pacing of diablo 3 but want more customization it's the perfect game to try out.

PoE is good, but that skill tree is intimidating, but thankfully there's a lot of community builds. There's only like two categories of micro transactions in the game. Cosmetics and extra storage space. You can make do without ever buying either, though extra storage is always nice. They keep on developing it and trying new things, but not everything they add in a league is kept, so it's not constantly getting bloated with tons of half done features.

The passive tree isn't that bad once you start understanding the game. There is only 1 or 2 obvious paths to use for whatever you're trying to do.

It's quite good. I've kind of drifted away from it after just one playthrough of the story, with the expansion still waiting for me after having been given it for my birthday, but there's a delightful amount of customization in there that somehow manages not to be too overwhelming (mostly because you can almost completely respec at will if you don't like a choice you made), and I quite enjoyed it for the 60-odd hours it hooked me for. It's easily worth $7 or whatever it's going for, if you're a fan of dark ARPG's.

Well, I guess I'll try out grim dawn. It's only 7 bucks, so not a lot to lose.

I actually love diablo 3, but it is a bit too linear. I haven't had as much experience with diable 2. The arpgs most like diablo that I've had the most experience with would probably be champians of norrath/return to arms.

torchlight is great.
