I don't know why so many bands released an album with that name, but I swear it seems like that's every band's best album. I always find myself enjoying most (if not all) of the songs.

I waited a long time to see if he would post this exact same topic, but he never did. So I had to take matters into my own hands.

Some of his topics are legit some of the most hilarious shit I've ever seen on this board.

But hey, a lot of non-gimmick posters like to 'play the dumb guy' every now and then, too. It's fun.

You think Help is their best?

It's my favorite. It used to be one of the Beatles albums I didn't like as much as others, but as I've gotten older and listened to it more I've grown to absolutely love it. You Like Me Too Much, Tell Me What You See, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away, The Night Before, I Need You, Another Girl, It's Only Love, and I've Just Seen a Face are among my favorite recordings.

Even the song Help, which I used to find annoying and too poppy, I've grown to see the brilliance of that composition. The intro is still a bit annoying to me, but once you hear the final "HEEEEELP!" you hear this nifty guitar lick bridging the intro into the verse and then the verse itself and it's just a damn good song. My favorite is when the it plays the final verse and there's no drums or bass or electric guitar just John Lennon on his acoustic and him singing the verse.

The middle years of The Beatles are my favorite. They were in full stride on writing, composing, and recording great, catchy songs, but they hadn't gotten the urge to start really going "out there" and trying strange new stuff. I love all the eras, of course, but the middle years albums I think are the best start to finish. They seemed more passionate about their music, whereas in the last couple albums they released I feel like they were just going through the motions in getting the stuff recorded and out there.
