Anything unusual? Most seem to like things like treats or toys. But what other things do you do, I guess?

Sometimes I'll scratch a itch for them. The older of my two dogs acts really appreciative of it as she'll usually start licking my arm and wagging her tail when I'm done.

My orange cat, Tiny, greets me by jumping into my arms. he likes to be spanked.

Houdini likes to exchange bites. So he'll nip me and I'll "bite" him with pinching fingers. It's a fun game

She-Ra likes to fist-bump her skull into my hand. I do that and make the bump explode and she loves it

They all have their own nicknames and little songs I sing to them. Cats like singing, those silly creatures

I like to do that, too. Sometimes, I'll see them start to scratch and I'll do it for them...

Mine do like to be held, too. They try to push each other out the way to get me to hold them.

I like to give my little ones nicknames, as well. They aren't very creative, but they seem to like them. Idk if they like my singing, though...

Yeah that's exactly what I do for my dogs, what you said on seeing them start to scratch though the younger of my dogs just comes up and slams her backside into my leg to let me know she wants her lower back scratched.

Other than that the younger one is hyper active so I'll play wrestle with her or run around outside with her to help wear her out. She enjoys that

When my cat(who is no longer with us) was a kitten and even as a adult I'd get a stick and "swoosh" it along the floor. He always chased it and certainly loved been able to use his hunting instincts.

I have a cat that is obsessed with sink faucets. If I go near a sink she will be right there waiting for me to turn the water on. She sticks her face right under the water. Sometimes she gets some up her nose and does the cutest little sneeze, but it doesn't phase her, she goes right back in.

I have another cat that loves to have her face and whiskers pet. I can just hold my hand out and she'll do it herself. Also if I have a jacket on she likes to climb in there and sleep.

One of my cats loves being under blankets but she can't really do it by herself for whatever reason, so I always throw one on top of her when she's sleeping.

My mom used to cut prepare my cats food like it was a feast. Like they really care.

For my dog though, when I make my self like a sandwich? I'll take a couple pieces aside for her, along with some cheese and cut them up or I'll roll them together and feed her. She really loves it.

I take my cats outside to play every day. I get home from work, or on the weekends I wake up and make coffee, and then I go 'come on ya'll skooooo' as I lead them to my back door and they get all excited. They stick around by me so long as I stay out with them. The 'skooooo' thing was from when my girlfriend and I did those insanity workouts and we were imitating shaun t, and it's since become the trigger word for 'come on cats let's go out'.

Also, so I got two cats. One loves hockey; everytime I watch the Penguins she's on me watching the game. The other one is a nerd and will sit with his feet up beside me and watch me play videogames; his favorite is final fantasy 6.

My cat just loves plastic bag balls. No other toy works for her. She runs all over the apartment hunting the thing until it ends beneath the sofa beyond her reach. She then just sits there looking at us, waiting for someone to take it out so she can continue playing.

She also love to bite things. Sometimes I wear one of my old jackets, cover my hand with the sleeve and lets she do whatever she wants with it while I watch TV.

And boxes. Every week I bring a new one home, nothing in the world makes her happier (tho she just destroys them in the end). No need to ask why we named her Pandora.

I had a rat once and let him have my whole room and it was a rather large room. Hell it was probably half the size of the entire place I live in now. He loved it and would actually on his own come and curl up on my shoulder and go to sleep when I'd lay down to go to bed.

My black and white cat, Bunny, loves the base of her tail scratched. But that's typical among cats.

She's a nervous cat and very wary of being petted by an entire hand, so I use just an index finger for all matters of petting/scratching and she loves that.
