Count calories to lose weight
-Fat - trying to have most of it come from avocado, fish, or almonds
-Carbs - most of it coming from fruits or quinoa or grains if I have to (like a multigrain bread)
-Protein - usual sources - eggs, lean meats
-Unprocessed food as much as possible, eating 1.5 cups of raw vegetables every day with lean meats
-Trying to keep a 40-30-30 ratio of carbs-fats-protein
-Also doing intermittent fasting - 8 hour window, nothing too crazy but it helps alot with portion control

Exercise:
-alternate lifting and moderate intensity cardio every day
-lifting: starting strength
-cardio: treadmill on incline and row machine back to back

Supplements:
-vitamin D - because I'm gonna assume I'm deficient and take 1000 iu daily
-fish oil
-fiber - its hard to get enough fiber, I'm gonna aim for 30g per day. Despite the diet i dont get enough
-whey protein - I drink 1 scoop per day at least, and at the end of the day I balance my macro ratios with an additional scoop or 2 if needed

As of now my cravings for sugar are completely gone. I walked by the bakery section of the grocery store with apple pies, chocolate cakes, frosted cookies, etc, and I had zero desire for any of it.
