Mine is 804 and I literally just pay my credit cards off every couple of weeks. Same cards for years and no other debt. So would making bi-weekly payments on my credit card help? I'm always on time with my monthly payments and I never pay the minimum. I also have the option of doing so with my car payment but I'm not sure if that'll have an effect. --- The 17th King of the State of K ... Copied to Clipboard!

Get a variety of debt. Buy a house, a car, pay student loans, have credit cards. At some point I heard American Express is a different type of debt that visa/mastercard credit cards and were treated differently on reports but I am not sure that was true or is true any longer.

1) Make sure you pay all of your bills on time
2) Keep your balance as low as possible. The % of your total credit that you owe is a factor. 3) Keep credit card accounts open as long as possible. 4) Ask for credit limit increases and/or sign up for new credit card accounts. Don't do too many of these too close together. Having more hard inquiries hurts your credit. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
