Current Events > I can't decide which game play first. (AC: Odyssey, Spiderman, God of War)

(Just beat rdr2)

I started Odyssey a couple days ago, only have about 10 hours in or so.... Its a fun game, but just so fucking big. I keep seeing people talk about having 150 hours logged, and still arent done. I havent fully grasped the controls, or the conquest shit yet.

God of War is linear, as far as I know, and probably can be beat quickly.

Spider-Man is open world, so Im not sure how long Ill spend.

god of war is linear with a shit ton of backtracking.

the bad part is that the game was designed to be "atmospheric" which basically translates to slow af for general travel but especially backtracking purposes.

unless you're an absolute sucker for deliberately slow paced design, you'll appreciate spider-man sooo much more after playing god of war.

don't know much about odyssey though.

God of War and Spider-Man are both around 20-30 hours I'd say. Not too long.

SpiderMan is a ton of fun and can probably be completely pretty quickly if you felt like it. I loved just fucking around in it though.

I like Odyssey the best of the three. I have more time on it than the other two put together and I didn't even finish it yet. What don't you get about the conquest stuff?

Im playing on exploration, and it was kinda hard to find the first leader. Just killed him though, and currently doing my first war battle

I may switch to guided, idk

exploration is just there to waste your time by adding an extra two steps to getting to a quest

conquest battles are only there for loot and like one achievement

I like ACO but i can see it's going to be too much of a commitment for me to regularly play.. and i'm level 10.
