Sucks like nothing else

By the by don't tell people they'll find someone life doesn't work like that. No aspect of life ever guarantees success. It's like saying if you work hard you'll get rich or if you diet and exercise you'll live a long healthy life, sure there's things we can do to increase our chances of success but quite frankly life doesn't work out for everyone. Most relationships don't work out and not everyone is going to pass on their genes.
There's always a clock too, the older you get the fewer opportunities there will be. Now I'm not advocating giving up just like I wouldn't advocate someone who is trying to lose weight to stop eating healthy but it's a flat out lie to say it'll work out for you.

Call it a gut feeling. I'm actually somewhat interested in a different girl atm but don't see her much so I don't think anything will come out of it.

lmfao but nope, she one of the few girls I've gotten to know. She is as strong willed, determined, and hard working as anyone I know and has overcame a lot in life. She very selective/picky about who she dates and gets intimate with but currently she's with a guy who's a marine, and despite my jealousy and knowing nothing else about him, call it another gut feeling I think he's the right guy for her.

Yeah, i was super into this girl last year. We dated for several months and were super close. I care about her a ton even now.

I broke up with her though. I didnt leave her f9r someone else or because I stopped having feelings for her.

But there were one or two big life things. She def wanted kids and did not want to move. I have always been on the fence about both. I thought I could make it work.

Then I realized I didnt have the heart to ask her to change and I was afraid I couldnt. We were getting really serious, so I ended it before things hit a point of no return without badly damaged feelings.

I was 33 and she was 27, so this was not playing around teen stuff. We just were not right for each other, even though I sometimes wish were still together.
