Rather than address the usual bias GameFAQs has for Chrono Trigger, I'd rather discuss why F-Zero is even in that poll. Like...why?

Yes, it was a groundbreaking racing game for its time. Did I mention it was only 1-player?

Outside of a few cups and roughly a dozen tracks, I don't think it's anywhere near great enough to consider it an SNES accolade. Its sequels were better, Super Mario Kart was better, and there's plenty of better SNES games from first and third-parties alike.

I was stuck for a week in a hotel whete you could pay to use the SNES it was like $5 per day. All they had was FZero in our room and I have super fond memories of it but yeah... definitely would never guess that's someone's favorite SNES game ever but

And Star Fox as well? Jesus Christ. I didn't even notice it was on the poll.

The only time Star Fox is acceptable is on an emulator. On the native system or the SNES Classic, its framerate renders it unplayable.

Even then, it's not even a top SNES title. It's serviceable for its pretty 3D polygons, characters, music, and action. But best?

Honestly, you would have gotten a lot more votes putting Super Castlevania IV up there. But I doubt the admin is a huge fan of the game.

X3 is the definition of an expendable game. It's really sad that the only noteworthy titles in that series are X1 and X4.
