Get used to it.
It's literally his most used technique.

Also, yeah.
It's definitely worth watching. Lots of episodes if you're looking for a long series.

Up through the chunin challenge and then it falls off hard after that. The sennin stuff is cool but after that it's basically nothing but filler until Shippuden.

It's good until the time-skip. Then the creator gets high on painkillers all the time and ends almost every conflict by having Naruto talk the bad guys into being good guys.

I mean, that happened since The first arc against Zabuza five episodes or so in. Sure him and Haku didn't make it but it was essentially a redemption trope.
