How long will this iconic American parade last before it fades into a distant memory?

They cut to a commercial break every two minutes and the most prominently featured floats were the ones with movies coming out. I'm sure those companies paid good money for advertising.

They lingered on Pikachu, Goku, and the Grinch. With Santa, they were like, "Here's the last float. Bye now." It's kind of a shame, but it is what it is.

To answer the second question, the parade won't fade. It might get a name change though.

"AT&T presidents the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade."
