I dont think the comparison is quite the same with movies because there kind of a one time experience with movies. With games your opinion of it is constantly evolving. From when youre brand new and learning the mechanics, to when you beat thing, it takes time to really form your opinion. Most times. yeah I can see where youre coming from with your example, its a decent comparison but not quite the same thing. You go see a movie in theatre and didnt like it, odds are youre not going to buy it when it comes out on video to see the directors cut, or special features, etc. Also if you bought a game, and it wasnt what you were hoping for on day one, wouldnt you want that to get better over time?
