only once for me

it was a summer program and I had to work at 3 public schools in my area like I was a janitor, cleaning them all for 3 straight months

School janitors make the same as hospital janitors and are far less at risk so there's that.

Done a summer in a call centre when I was a student to save up some extra money. Calling people who had recently left their cable television provider offering them deals if they'll come back.

Now work in my actual career path of accounting!

Before my office jobs I worked at Walmart (cashier), CVS (pharmacy tech), and Costco (pharmacy tech).

The best of those was Costco of course, but the worst surprisingly CVS and not Walmart.

A lot of them

- Every ambulance job Ive had
- Starbucks
- An internship into a fullstack development position that was way over my head per experience because that company was crashing and burning

I bartend now, and Id consider that the first decent job Ive had. Good work environment, good money to stress ratio, supports my lifestyle, and its fun.

only shitty job i had was working at babies r us, i thought it would be easier than toys r us (just wanted the r us discount); turns out it was me, this other dude, and about 15 pregnant women on the team

so basically it was me and this dude unloading 300lbs+ of furniture, travel systems, massive sandboxes, cribs, etc and whatever other shit off a truck and hoisting all that crap three high above the shelves, while pregnant women stocked the small items on the shelves and worked the registers, all for an equal $8.50 an hour. Equal pay for equal work, or so they say

What kind of environment is the bartending in? I ask because I had a stint at it and didn't enjoy it but probably because it was for a banquet hall

You feast on red herring because it is your birthright.
