PEGI, CERO, BBFC, OFLC etc, all have a usable adult rating stores sell them and consoles allow them on it, the ESRB has the AO rating that is banned from all consoles and retail stores, why is it that Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo only forbid the ESRB's adult rating but all the others can be allowed on their systems?

Because the ERSB has a 17+ rating. Anything with an 18+ rating, is assumed to be offensive to an absurded level.

Yes, but PEGI 16 isn't the highest rating allowed in Europe!

Manhunt 2 was, I was VERY surprised to see Manhunt 1 on PSN UNCUT, I thought it would have had to be censored like the sequel.

Still 18+ games are allowed they aren't seen as obscene vile filth to be banned anywhere but the US!
