I ordered the following:

Raspberry Pi 3 B+
AC adaptor
128gb microSD card
Transparent case
Python Beginner's book

All for about $100.

I was going to buy a bundle with a couple of other things, but there was a warning label regarding the plastic, so I ordered everything separately and it's a better deal this way. Besides, the bundle I had looked at had a lot of stuff I didn't need.

I'm going to use this as a Retro Pie and maybe learn how to program Python. I'll probably use my laptop to learn Python though. Until I get cheap keyboard for the Raspberry Pi.

Better be A+ next time.

Nah, but that is cool. I love me some gadgets.

I have a Raspberry Pi and I thought "Well this might be good for learning Python" but then I realized it's just way easier to do that (and pretty much everything else) on my normal computer. You can use it for hobby electronics of course but I haven't done that yet. The only use I've thought of for it as just a computer is daily web scraping, since leaving it on all the time uses way less power than leaving my desktop on, but guess what? It can't run all the scrapers I've written.

I have a 2 and 3. I also thought of all the cool stuff that could be done with it but I'm not terribly familiar with Linux and haven't coded in years. So it's pretty much a retro gaming box and that's perfect.

Whats the difference between the 3 and the 3 b+. I think I bought a 3 for my brother in law about 2 years ago so he can make a mega man console.

For Python, I recommend using this IDE:

https://www.jetbrains.com/pycharm/download/

One of the most difficult things I found with Python is just learning the Standard Library, IDE's help with that without needing to keep a web page open at the same time.
