For example: I absolutely hate Naruto. While I thought part 1 was amazing, Shippuden has been driving me up the wall with all kinds of stupidity, especially in the Shinobi War Arc.

But the only reason why I continue to watch is because of my fascination with Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju, and watching Minato Namikaze is really cool.

Do you specifically want to know if we watch a show we don't like that much just because of a single/few character/s? Cause I don't watch things if I like none of the characters.

Sure, even if its just one.

I've hated the show Arrow since season 3, but I have started season six since there is such a focus on Oliver, the New Green Arrow, and the new glimpes into the future.

I skipped 4-5 due to the insufferable Olicity relationship in the show. But now that they now have focus other than that, I can finally watch and enjoy the show now.

I watched The New Girl because I'm in love with Zooey Deschanel.

It's actually not a bad show but I wouldn't have given it the time otherwise.
