Looks like a simple glitch where the end of that ride glitched and registered a hit rather than a no-damage I-frame recovery. Because of this your rings did not explode, but you lost them non the less

I've had that happen before (ps4) I'm not sure why that happens but it is rare. I'm guessing there is some kind of hidden enemy or trap that loads out of place/sight. Just a random guess.
Might be an asset bug or loading order bug. That entire level/zone is one giant clusterfuck anyway. --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 29 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ... Copied to Clipboard!
