I love the Christmas season. The build-up to the big day, and then Christmas week, which is really, really nice. The air is pretty biting, but the long periods of darkness can be quite good, and the decorations around my town look nice (although they're pretty scaled back this year, probably to save money). There's also late night shopping in Britain, when the shops stay open to about 9 once a week, which has a really good atmosphere.

Sadly, a lot of people probably just see this as an average month, or, worse still, bad, because of the cold and dark. These people don't have much of a spark in them, anymore, it seems.

Seriously.

Cold, trafficky, Office Christmas party, too busy, already sick of the Christmas decor they put up in mid November before the month even starts, can't listen to the radio, sometimes it even snows.
