Bill and Hillary Clinton started off their north american tour in Montreal, Canada as they were presented with personalized Canadian hockey jerseys!!

The former president and secretary of state appeared on stage as they spoke to the crowd for an hour at the Bell Centre and indicated that the US shoud follow Canada's lead in model of DIVERSITY!!

Bill said "Canada has done such a good job of both managing its contemporary diversity and it has a very interesting immigration system. And yet it's still Canada. And i just think that you can model the idea that you can become more diverse and still keep your culture and your values. It's really very good for a modern economy. The United States will have to return to that if it expects to play a positive role in the future. It's going to be very bleak indeed if we all become more authoritarian and more homogenized and hunkered down on ourselves. It would be a big mistake. We shouldn't do that"

They didn't refer to Trump by name as the power couple and caused controversy in Toronto the night before by accusing Trump of a Saudi cover-up in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

They got a warm reception from the crowd as they jabbed at the Trump administration

Hillary said "What makes this so troubling is how much commercial interst both the president's family and business and his son in law's family business have with the kingdom"

Bill also apologized for Trump's clash with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau during his lat trip that set off a trade clash

Do you agree with the Clintons that the United States should be more like Canada?.

Uh, Canada is less diverse than the US... Unless by "managing diversity," he means lowering it. And Canada maintains its "culture" by proactively limiting foreign media (ie, the content quota system). So is Bill pushing for a more authoritarian censorship model?
