I'd say I look between about 4 and 6 years younger than I am.

This is extremely important. People won't judge my complete failure in life too harshly.

These topics are always filled with people mistaken for being younger.

I've gotten 30+ since I was in High School, one time being mistaken for my younger sister's father. Keep in mind I was barely a sophomore at that time.

I've had people guess younger, or correctly before, but it's super rare.

Honestly, it pisses me off more than anything, but it's gotten to a point where I can't tell if they're really being honest or just jerking my chain. I do have a very deep voice and facial hair, perhaps that plays a role.

They say I look older because I don't smile, but that doesn't make much sense to me. A young guy who doesn't smile isn't suddenly going to look 30 or 40. That's more mannerisms than physical appearance.

I thought my beard kept my face at about my actual age, but my new therapist said I looked 18 inistead of 28. Now I'm afraid to shave.

I'm 34 and I look around 25ish I think. My hair is beginning to go, so maybe older without a hat or whatever.

You know, reading this topic, I should be more grateful. My dad drinks and tokes way too much, but he's almost 60, and barely looks 40. I'll be fine doing absolutely nothing, though that's not a great way to live.
