I never got the point in replacing Hayter and then having the replacement have such few fucking lines.

If Hayter "Really couldn't cut it anymore." why does that matter when Snake is silent for like 97% of the game?

Imagine if you tuned into the Simpsons and Homer was now voiced by Carl Weathers but only had like 1 or 2 lines an episode.

It would be really weird.

I dunno, but I always thought it was weird how all the Snakes had different voices except for Solid and Big Boss, even though Solidus was the one that was supposed to be BB's exact clone

and how *MGS4 spoilers* Big Boss has a different voice when he's older, but Solid sounds the same, but more worn, when he's an old man

I'm pretty sure that was done just to avoid confusion/kojima at least realized he couldn't pull a seth macfarlane with bb/ss.
