Was at a store yesterday, saw a family - mom, dad, two kids - getting advice and exploring their options.

The two kids were being loud, running around, standing in the way, etc., but my wife and I aren't angry or aggressive people so we were just like "Oh excuse us, can we pass?"

The mom freaked out and said "YOU'RE IN THE WAY" and jerked the little girl by the arm out of our way. Then she apologized to *us* (not the girl). I fucking hate that shit.

We didn't think much of it until after we got in our car and were driving home - my wife asked "Did you see how she jerked her arm?? She could have dislocated her shoulder." Then I realized the boy's arm had been in a sling too and that set off some red lights right away (don't know why it didn't click before).

If I had made that connection earlier I probably would have called the cops but I'm wondering if anyone else has ever been in that situation and what did you do
