24 hour line for things like this.

I can see two transactions from American Freight with pending withdrawals of over $600 and $700.

All the useless bitch did for now is cancel my card and the earliest I'll know anything is Tuesday morning.

Take a chill pill dude. Jesus Christ.

If you talked to someone on a Sunday, then obviously they do have a 24 hour line. If she canceled your card, then she isn't useless. That's the most important thing is canceling the card so that the fraud won't continue.

Assuming it is actual fraud, then you will be reimbursed, but it takes time while they investigate. They're not just going to take your word for it. That would be incredibly stupid of them to just take someone's word for it. They have to do their own investigation, and that takes time.

I understand you're upset, but you're taking your anger out on the wrong people. You should be pissed at the people who committed the fraud, not the banking people. It's not their fault.

what an ignorant post usually you don't get your money back in these situations if you don't believe me then google credit card fraud claim denied banks still think that the emv chip is fraud proof and if someone stole money from your account then you had to have given your pin to them what they do is give you provisional credit in your account and then eventually you get a letter in the mail saying your claim was denied and they take the money back out of your account i'd be pissed too

Someone in miami used like 300 bucks in the span of a few hours to buy only fast food on my card

My bank were the ones who realized it was happening and let me know, froze the card and got me my money back almost immediately

I've had at least a dozen instance of money being taken out of my accounts without my knowledge.

I'm not sure what you're doing with your life, or who you've been giving your account info to, but you might want to rethink your life choices.

I'm so sure the actions of thieves that I have no control of are indicative to my life choices.

Most people go through their entire lives not having to deal with this issue even once, and even people who do rarely have a problem more than a couple of times. If you've had this problem a DOZEN times, you've seriously fucked up somewhere. Whether you picked a bank with absolutely atrocious security, or repeatedly give out your account info to shady vendors, or otherwise place your info catastrophically at risk in some way, you really should figure out where the problem lies and do whatever you can to fix it to prevent this from happening again in the future.

No, you're not at fault for what thieves do, but if your idea of security is to basically put your life savings in a clear Tupperware container and leave it sitting on your front porch where everyone can see it, it kind of is your fault if someone steals it.

That's a lot of fast food.....

I also had my bank freeze my card once, although it was for a legitimate transaction, but they thought it was suspicious for some reason. I had bought a washer and dryer online, and apparently it got flagged at my bank as suspicious activity. I tried to use my card the next day, and it was frozen. I was like WTF. I called and got it straightened out easily. I guess better safe than sorry that they froze my card when it wasn't needed rather than not freezing it when it was needed.
