Like, Thanos threatans all of existence. Yet, its a few humans from earth + Thor + GOTG who tries to stop him. Why aren't there other asgardians trying to stop him? (i know what happens in ragnarok, but still, there had to be more OP ones like Thor/Death/Loki))
Why aren't there representatives from other planets? Star Lord is just a human with alien weapons, why can't they go get some more and deck out some more guys? In fact, why is that entire area of space just in a state of care factor = 0? And whatever planet Captain Marvel went to? Iron man had a fleet of suits that he destroyed, but he could have made a legion of them. Thanos is a Universal threat, but the universe is not fighting back.

After watching that new trailer, I was wondering if they were going to address at least this race? of warrior HEROS where she got her powers, and if they're going to show up wondering why half their population died.

Few ideas.

For one, lack of knowledge of the Infinity Stones and even Thanos in general. The stones seem to be a pretty well-kept secret, and Thanos doesn't really seem to be a public figure. Ronan was public, sure, but not many knew he had Thanos backing him.

For two, Thanos' attack was largely Earth-focused. Earth is not a member of the galactic community, and even in galactic situations, certain cultures tend to hunker down. The Kree didn't want anything to do with Ronan, for example, when he threatened Xandar.

Three, Xandar was attacked. We never saw the extent of it, but they mentioned that he toppled the planet to get the Power Stone. They and the Nova Corps are probably one of the more prominent governments in the galactic scene, and they couldn't do jack against him.

Four, the attack honestly seemed to go pretty quick. The entirety of Infinity War lasted a couple of days at most. Daytime in New York, nighttime in Scotland, then daytime in Wakanda. That's very little time for any kind of galactic force to mobilize.

in age of ultron thor remarks that someone has made pawns of them with the appearance of the 4th infinity stone so it's obvious thanos has been going at it really quiet.

not to mention this leads into thor 3 where thor doesn't get much further with his "investigation" and are sidetracked with the whole ragnarok thing.

also, in gog1 ronan finds out that thanos was hiding he was after an infinity stone and takes it for himself.

however, what's more pressing is why there's an intergalactic army that has been traveling the entire galaxy eradicating half of all the planets they come across without anyone banding together and stopping throughout what has been at least a couple of decades according to gamora's lifespan at least.
