Most parents would choose to give their kid a easier life if they could. So until bigotry and bullying is gone (never will be) I can't hold it against a parent to have that mindset as long as they don't try sending them to conversion therapy or some shit. My opinion has been influenced more by random people online who actually take the time to civilly talk about a issue and present evidence or facts to their side. Aside from that the basis on my opinions stems from how I was raised. My mind has been changed on some things though Also I go out of my way to avoid paying attention to celebs outside whatever it is they do that I like.
