Movie was terrible but had some surprising guests. I didn't like Milano's pixie cut either.

Yeah, when I was around that age my mother just started recording any movie that she saw was a "video game" I played and just sat me down to watch them when I was off from pre school.

So it was basically Robocop 3, Double Dragon, Captain America, Super Mario Bros. and I think The Phantom?

Although I think Phantom came out when I was older, like 6 or 7.

Edit: Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat as well. But I think we owned actual copies of those movies.

Loved it as a kid, its painfully bad now tho, the dialogue of the brothers especially the white one my god

I loved the double dragon game on the SNES. The only thing this movie had in common with it was the color shirts the main characters wore

The only positive thing I'll say about the movie is that, surprisingly, it had stronger female characters than in the games.

Linda remained a mid-level threat, but they made Marion into a resourceful vigilante and gave the Lee Twins a female mentor and martial arts instructor named Satori. That part of the movie was actually pretty refreshing; especially for a 90s film of this nature.

...but that didn't save the rest of the film from being utter shit.
