But every inch of my financial sense is saying not to do it since I don't need it and it'd just be a really expensive toy.

FFFFFFF but it's such a cool car. Test drove it twice. Beautiful car. Made in America too. Gotta support that American manufacturing.

FFFFFF I can definitely afford the car but when I think about the compounded cost of buying the car, after 10-15 years the sum starts becoming significant. Not sure if enjoyment of the car would outweigh that. Maybe it would.

Maybe life is too short and I should get it and if I end up not liking it in a year or two I can resell it since Teslas hold their value fairly well.

Halp me CE. What would you do if you could afford a nice car that you've been eyeballing for years but also have a deep-seated fear of spending too much money on toys?

I wouldn't be financing it, and even if I chose to finance it at low interest I'd be more than able to make the monthly payments.
