let's be real. Smash run was a good idea, I love City Trial, but the way it was executed was terrible.

The way they gave a random challenge at the end where you had no control over how the game would end and sometimes you would lose just because you didn't pick a character who could win at that challenge, even with the stat increases. Like running speed and jumping challenges.

At least City Trial let you pick what the last game mode was in the settings

I would love a fine tuned Smash Run. Maybe with 3 different chooses maps, and a fully customization last match selection. Like how the random stage selection works for Vs, where you can toggle which ones you want to show up.

I mean, who knows, maybe it will be in a DLC pack in the future. Nintendo did say they plan use their new games as a platform for continual DLC
