I set my browser to erase all history except for cookies/passwords when I close it, so I don't bother with private browsing.

Edit: Even if I already ate I usually offer them supplies to cook themselves something.

I have privacy issues. It's a studio, so there isn't a separate bedroom and living room type area. If I had a separate bedroom, I wouldn't mind having company over because I could just lock it.

Just convenience. I got my iPod right by the shower so I can change songs while in the shower. Plus my living room is on a different floor on the opposite end of the house. Leaving doors open while Im on the second floor makes me nervous.

private browsing is specifically for when I do online shopping so I'm not inundated with cookie-based ads on products I've already looked at.

tbh, on my desktop I use firefox for my porn browsing because it has the ability to download mp4s. I use Chrome for non-porn browsing and is what I open up for guests who are hopping onto my desktop. They start typing in stuff and there's a (suspicious) lack of porn site suggestions.

Generally door open for bathing, unless it's cold in the place and I shut the door to help keep heat in.

Growing up, my brother would steal from me on an almost daily basis and I was always blamed for it. It was bad enough that once I moved out, I was prepared to not allow him contact with me at all ever, but as it turned out, his behavior was a result of a shit ton of different meds fucking with his brain. He went to a new psychiatrist and got his meds adjusted and he stopped doing the bullshit he used to do. Having to be in an environment where my property was not even close to safe for as many years as that was... had a permanent effect on me. When my landlord texts me that he has to be in my apartment for any reason, even though he gives valid notice, I pretty much have anxiety attacks.

Oh, damn. I had cousins steal from me and it sucks. They stole from anyone so it wasn't personal but they were still douchebags of course. I think that played into me blaming friends for stealing shit but I always found out that wasn't the case lol. Id apologize and feel like an asshole but aside from that it didn't seem to have any long term affect on me. You doing anything to work on trusting people again. When he comes by and nothing changes, doesn't that show there probably isn't anything to worry about?

I wasn't exactly a trusting person before that, so I'm not even sure "again" applies. I never learned to trust in the first place. My brother wouldn't fuck with any of my stuff at this point. I see him pretty much just in neutral territory such as my parents' house plus he's 28 now. When he was younger, I would have stuff he didn't have and that would be the stuff he'd take.

As for working on trust issues, I have no idea how to even do that.
